We are a startup organization in southern Utah. We have expertise in digital signal processing, procedural texturing, and industrial automation. We specialize in exotic control algorithms. We can offer software authoring services as well as electrical assembly in those disciplines.

Current Projects:

Besides TGen and StoneAge, we are currently developing a loss in weight controller using our specialized, in-house developed “Information Based Control (IBC)” paradigm. Far beyond standard PID algorithms and more sharply focused than simple references to the fuzzy logic theme, IBC seeks to optimize control by rigorous maximization of available information about a given process. IBC is intensely abstract, and cannot be described well in a few pages. When this development is finished, MGS HighTech will patent the world’s most well behaved loss in weight controller.

A loss in weight controller is a controller that controls a feeder or pump, which moves product off of a scale. By processing the data coming from the scale, the controller is able to determine how to power the feeder/pump in order to achieve a set desired flow rate.
