A rife generator can be as simple as a function generator and an amplifier. If you already own a computer and an audio amplifier, you can own a rife generator for little more than the cost of TGen. Of course, if you intend to take this simple route, you will definitely want to protect your amplifier against damage by wiring a resistor in series with your amplifier output signal. Approximately 100 ohm, 30 to 50 watt should be about right. Order this resistor from Allied Electronics with part number 895-0434. Mount it to any old piece of aluminum about 5 inches square or larger after smearing its bottom with heat sink grease, and don’t forget to securely solder it and cover the amplifier-connected lead of the resistor with shrink tubing or electrical tape to protect against shorting. Heat sink grease can be purchased at your local radio shack.
